Re: Rocker guards

Great comments and thoughts on my questions. I really appreciate the additional questions I need to consider. Maybe I really need to look at more club members jeeps and talk to them about pro's and cons and then really consider my needs.

Rocker guards

I am beginning to develop a plan for my JKU Rubicon 2016. My plan is to build a modest jeep for the badlands/cliffs and other similar trails. I am 59 and have arthritic knees so I am not sure how much lift I can really go. This is my daily driver and I often take 4-6 hour drives to see relatives. As...

Re: DASH CAM

I can ask my son about mounts and locations on how he gets good shots on promotional videos for contruction equipment, if you want. Or I can bring him to a future club meeting.

Cb radio install fail

Noobie installing my first cb radio in 2016 jku. Bought right channel cobra 75 wx st. Can't seem to get bolts off under lower center control panel. Right channel recommends install to the 12v power outlet[cig. Lighter]. Any words of wisdom?

Re: Recovery Gear

I am okay with scratches, dents, whatever. my wife is not so keen about it. but I bought the jeep to have fun not to look pretty. if she would let me, I would take the rubicon stickers off and all the plastic badges and logos off too. not a big fan of advertising. if I could figure a way to paint mu...

Re: Recovery Gear

I have a 2016 rubicon 4 door. I thought if I was going to get into off roading, to get the good stuff into a single mointhly payment and with a factory warranty. its my third jeep but the first one I plan to do take off roading. would you get a handheld cb or go for a cobra 29 or 75 with a firestick?

Re: Recovery Gear

I had not thought about all of those additional items. How do you store it in the jeep so it doesn't come loose? I can see I have lot to learn before my first off road trip!

Recovery Gear

Hi, I am a new member, Pat Boyer and I met many of you at the Jeep Inspection last Saturday. As I begin to get ready for my first off roading experience, I know I need some basic recovery gear. At least, that's what I have read in so many of the other jeep forums. I have looked at 4WD, Quadratrac, e...

Hello, My name is Pat Boyer and I intend to attend the meeting this weekend and join the club. I will bring my form and $30 for joining. I am excited to be apart of your club and to learn more about Jeeps. I am on my third Jeep now: I had a 2000 TJ, a 1990 XJ with my son and just bought a 2016 Rubic...
