Re: Wrangler Dana 30 hub Question
I was not sure what year the 3 bolt bearing unit started and was hoping it might just be a revised bolt pattern std hub shared with the Dana 30-44 family of axles.
Most std trailer hubs I've seen so far have too small of bearing to slide over a earlier Jeep spindle.

Wrangler Dana 30 hub Question
I know Willys Jeeps and not the newer stuff... Does anyone know 1 - if the Wrangler Dana 30 hubs are 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern, and 2 - are they virtually the same hub as the 5 on 5 1/2" hubs as far as bearings are concerned and will work on a older Jeep or Willys spindle to convert to 5 on...

Re: Trailer Rims
15" would be preferred anyway.
Any idea what the back spacing is on one, also have the hub diameter that could be a potential deal breaker too.?
Guess I need to try someones spare tire.
thanks Jon,
Art

Trailer Rims
My Aluminum Triton Trailer I use to haul my 48 Willys had 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern hubs. The steel wheels are 14X 6 with about 4" of back spacing. I need a spare and thought about using Aluminum Wheels from a Jeep if they will fit. I'm not familiar with the Chrysler Jeeps but do any of the...

Re: m38a1 question
It would have came with one if it is a M38A1. Uses the same as all the other L & F 134s but was most likely removed for the pump install. It is also common to see them relocated to the fender. Contact Harry Sheets http://midwestwillys.com in Crawfordsville, IN tell him Art C. sent you. I do his ...

About 17 of us are leaving and supporting the CERF P at Camp Gruber. I hate going anywhere that starts with Camp. Camps are less primative than Forts if you know what I mean... We'll miss you on this one. Spoke to Gris yesterday and he sounds pretty busy. TVD took a new job replacing Jack starting a...

Does this mean I need to turn one of my tires around? Re: directional tires
When we started getting the M9XX series 5 ton mil 6x6s at work in the 90s, the directional Michelins were reversed for one tire on each axle and we thought it was an error at the factory but later found out that in order to get traction in reverse you would need a tire for directional traction going...
