Out of stock

Why are they always out of stock of the part I need to finish something? Why also does it take 3 weeks to find out that they are out of the part? The part in question is a dana 44 lockright. Richmond gear who now produces them is out of stock and does not plan on making any until the week after next...

CJ-6 update

Just starting a post to keep everyone abreast of my progress on the 6. Got the rear 60 back last weekend, 5.38's and a spool. Installed the rear disks and rolled it back under the Jeep. Tonight after a lot of convincing words  I got the M.O.R.E. steering box and the new AGR box installed. Now ...

duty cycle has to do with a relative percent of time that something can operate at max capacity. An air compressor that can run at max for 12 minutes and requires a 4 min down time would have 75% duty cycle. The reason to run an air tank would be to limit or eliminate the down time. The 12 volt comp...

Rear disk brakes

I got the rear disks put on the rear of the 6 last weekend, just have one question. How do I bleed them? Air rises, but the bleeders are on the bottom. Oops, the axle goes under the springs not on top of it.

Steps to lift Cherokee body.

1. Throw chain over very large branch.

2. Park Cherokee under said branch.

3. Hook chain to Cherokee through the windows.

4. Hook other end of chain to tractor.

5. Drive tractor forward.

Instant body lift. Also good for washing underneath.
