Jill,
I'll bring my Jeep up Thursday night but I have to work Friday so I do not know how late I'll stay to help set up.
Put me down for Sunday as I will need to come back to pick my Jeep up. Probably will gt there around noon and stay the duration.
Steve

Correction
I believe the trips to Colorado and Utah have an open invite to Club Members.

Chris Dukes Off Road Ranch is a bit tongue in cheek. Though I would like to open an Off Road Park, it's entirely too small to support that kind of use. However, I did buy the property to go wheeling on, and it is available for members of MIJC to use. As long I have advanced notice you are coming and...

Dukes Off Road Ranch Work (food) and Play (food) Weekend
Put the weekend of April 8th on your calendar for the final push to get all of the trails open. (Weather and job permitting). Most of the trails are done, and the remainder has been laid out, all the brush has been cleared, and it will take no more than a couple of hours to clear the remaining snags...

Thanks DrDirt for the input (IÃm not worthy), I have a NV3500 Tranny with a 4.01 first gear, NP241 4:1 T case, and 4.1 gears now, 65:1 crawl ratio. (Fifth gear on the road is already useless). Most of the wheeling I do now is in 3rd gear. Only use 1st for the technical stuff, and even itÃs too low...

? about Frazer's J20 Axles
I'm starting to gather some parts for the retro fit and have some ??? 1. How wide are they? 2. Presently they are shod with 16.5" wheels. Will 16" clear the brake hardware? 3. What is the spline count? 4. Is that spline count good to go with 37-38" tires or would it make sense to upgr...

Which Tires to Buy???
I'm thinking of getting a different set of tires, bigger of course, but which ones to get?
I'm leaning towards a particular set, but rather than biasing the answers, what, in your opinion, would you buy the next time around?
Duke

Couldn't resist the disease and did some wheeling today and finished clearing two of the new trails. It's still muddy and is challenging to get back up out of the bottoms, (More Throttle!), but it is starting to dry out a bit. Looking at the Club Schedule, it looks like the weekend of April 9th or 2...

I think the safety issue has been well covered but some things to keep in mind... The amount of energy stored in a tow strap or winch cable during a pulling operation is enormous. If a hook or D ring should come loose from itÃs mounting, it becomes a missile with consequences I prefer not to invasi...

Let's Play!
We just need to pick a date. My schedule will not allow it till late March, and there's the weather to consider, needs to dry out a bunch. Right now the driveway requires a four wheel drive to get back to the house and a loaded trailer is out of the question. I have had 80 ton of rock hauled in the ...
