Although I'm a bit depressed at all the stuff we found wrong with my Jeep, it's good that we found it all now and not in Fulton laying in the mud. Thanks to everyone who participated and of course to Todd for the use of the shop.

A few things... Inspections are this Saturday at German-Bliss Equipment, which is at 215 Fairlane Drive in East Peoria. This is just off 116 near Uftring Jeep. Turn in at the light just north of Centennial Drive. We will probably have a short meeting at noon then begin the inspections. Please don't ...

So I gotta ask... if you basically built this from the ground up using mostly new parts, what VIN will you use to title it? Was there one with the engine or frame you used?

Maybe you could make up your own number: MBROWN00001.

Does it happen in any other gears or just first? I had a Jeep that this used to happen to, and it ended up that I had to have the transmission rebuilt. 1st gear and a couple of the synchro gears were worn down to the point where it would not stay in gear. The annoying part was that this was a CJ wit...

I did my tires and rims and put Teraflex Revolvers in the front. I hope to buy new shocks before the first wheeling trip. Can't wait to try it out on the trail.

If that's what a date is like in the Haas household, I'm not sure I wanna be around for that.

Honestly, this was one of the simplest CJ projects I've ever done. Everything went pretty well, with no major issues. We kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and it never did. Fraser, Jon and I agreed that this was the only project on the CJ that went exactly as expected and took less time than w...

New tires & rims!

Lookie lookie! I finally got rid of the all-terrains. These are Bob's old tires... Jon and I agreed that this increases the bad-a$$ factor by about 10. Should perform a lot better too. Ultimate Jeep collection

Stumbled across this site while looking for pictures of Gladiator pickups to see if I correctly installed the vent covers on my Wagoneer grille. These folks have an amazing collection of rare and first-run Jeeps of all kinds, including an '87 YJ with serial number *1*, and the third-to-last Grand Wa...

Does your new job allow for vacation days? You would only need to take Saturday off once in awhile to go wheeling or whatever interests you.

For the record, there is currently no such thing as a high-definition DVD player. Right now, there are two major corporate consortiums battling it out over two different ways of putting hi-def DVD video on discs, both involving blue lasers (blue lasers have a smaller beam than the current red lasers...

Yahoo Photos and the other sites you've tried may block other sites from linking to their photos. Not sure what else to suggest... most ISP's give you some web space for free; sometimes you just have to ask them where it is and how to get to it. Insight Broadband does this for sure. You could also s...

Is anyone else besides me just seeing a broken link symbol instead of Chris' pictures? None of them are loading, including the one in your signature. The wierd thing is that if I copy the link for the pics and open it in a new browser window, I can see them just fine. Perhaps your site does not allo...
