Re: Looking for value of a 2003 TJ.

Thanks guys.
This Jeep has been sitting for 2 years. I'll fire off a text tomorrow and ask about the title. I'll get the vin # as well.

Re: Looking for value of a 2003 TJ.

More info. Except for being bent, the frame is good, body mounts also good. No bondo in the tub. I'm also thinking all the dash parts that have been removed are in the jeep. This TJ was bought back from the Ins. Co. By the current owner. I forgot to ask about the title, I do know the Jeep was paid f...

Looking for value of a 2003 TJ.

Here's the skinny. Just a TJ wrangler Hard top. Probably a rough country short arm lift, at least 3". 4.0l w/auto. No rims or tires. Dash half apart at heater/radio Warn rear bumper. Now for the really bad part. Front end damage, will need 2 front fenders, hood and grill. And the front drivers ...

Re: Do you know this Jeep?

The pan gasket and pan bolt pattern is the same between a 727 and 999. Bill, the caption on that photo you posted is incorrect. The gasket outlines shown are for a 727 and 904/A500. The 904 is considerably different from the 727. I did not have any issues swapping a 727 in place of my burned-up 999...

Another great day in Harlen county KY. We only had 1 issue, John G's. Factory plastic part on the linkage broke. John did a temp. Fix with some zip ties , and it's now fixed permanent .

Re: 2015 Big Trip Harlan KY

Pre MIJC big trip damage report. TSE trailer axle brake problems, a failed brake shoe caused a little excess heat, causing the wheel to exit the trailer. 2 trips to the trail so far, no breakage except for Soup's front driveshaft carrier bearing support. O2 sensor broke, tranny shifter problems, and...

Re: Do you know this Jeep?

I have doubts about it being a 727, the reason is, without at least 4+ inches of lift, there are driveshaft clearance issues.

Re: Snorkel

Since I had my jeep it was loud from the beginning, I don't think the snorkel will change the loudness that drastically. I just hate stopping at the light and hearing this annoying rattle:) I always wanted to install the snorkel, couple of my buddies have them on theirs. Looks kinda cool. I don't l...

Re: 42RLE Opinions

Sorry Matt, my Rubicon hasn't seen any trails. YET.

I think Rubicrawler, a member here would be a good one to ask. He runs a auto with I believe 4.88 gears. IIRC he told me at Will's Missouri ranch that he had to increase RPM's on downhills.

Hope Lisa, the little one and you are doing well.
