Steve Vohs and Larry Haas were the top two vote getters. Sorry Derek. I know you really wanted to do this. The reduced space (down from 50 feet last year) was a surprise to us, and going by the votes was the most fair way we could think of to make the final decision. Maybe next year you can show off...

Our move-in time on Thursday is 10.45am. We will be between Uftring Auto Mall's jeep display and Rhino Linings. Now the bad news: they have more exhibitors this year, so we have room for only two jeeps (40 feet). We'll re-check the votes this evening to determine which two jeeps received the most an...

I found the 'egg' too. Just didn't bother saying anything. Is there a prize? Anyway, I'd like to try a -R version. The +R version plays, but the quality isn't all that great.

In the past, I have used a compression tester fitting threaded into the spark plug hole, connected to a compressed air source to hold the valve closed while the retainer is replaced. It's a little easier than feeding rope into the cylinder.

I have seen a nice set-up on Bill's XJ, some brackets that bolt onto the side of the unibody "frame" behind the stock front bumper and extend down. Then the generic 10,000# tow hooks bolt to those. I don't know where he got them, but at least now you know that they exist and maybe you can ...

Mark - I think you would have a better chance of selling the truck, trailer and jeep if you did so separately. Or maybe make a package deal of the truck and trailer for a club member that already has a jeep. Look up the blue book values (trade, wholesale, private) on kbb.com and go from there.

Derek - $600 for the Superwinch with extras sounds good to me. And if you have trouble with it, it's a good company to deal with. I have a small (1500#) Superwinch on my trailer and the switch went bad. I tried to find a replacement locally but couldn't, so I called their service people. They were v...
