If you're registering a new username on the forum, the code you will be asked for is 7883. Requiring new users to find this post and enter the code on the registration screen will effectively eliminate spam "bots" from attempting registration on our forum.
If you are a current user, you don't need to do anything.
EDIT:
All accounts must be manually activated (by an administrator) after registration, which is the last link in the chain to keep spammers off our forum. If you are registering from an IP address located outside Illinois, especially outside the United States, it's very likely your account will not be activated. Contact me via PM or on the main website if you feel you have been rejected in error.
