Tyring to Access Members pages

Post by DrDirt »

After selecting the 'Members' page, I have trouble getting the mouse to retain the alphabetic categories,ie, A-D, in the drop down long enough to move it to the list of members and then attempt to select a specific member. The drop downs leave as soon as I move the mouse. Occasionally, it works. Is my mouse old or what??

Still works OK for me, have your cat give the mouse some attitude adjustment.
Thanks,

I will agree that it's a bit touchy. One thing you want to do is make sure the page is done loading before you start navigating through those menus. If you start before the page is completely loaded, the menus will disappear when the page finishes loading and you'll have to re-hover.

I also used to have a complete list of all the member pages if you clicked on the "Members" tab without going through any of the drop-downs. Then I upgraded the software on the site and the list went away, and I've kinda forgotten how I did it (it was an automatically-generated list based on the pages that had "Members" as a parent). I'll work on getting that up again.

OK, that was pretty painless. I re-enabled the list on the members page. You can get to it by clicking on the "members" tab without using the drop-downs:

As a bonus, I did the same thing for the photos page. Clicking on the "Photos" tab (again, ignore the drop-downs) gets you a list of all the events from all the years:

Happy browsing, John.
