MIJC Meeting Minutes: May 7th, 2016 at Our Inn Place in Pekin, Illinois

Treasurer's Report

Starting: $1,651.30

Ending: $1,471.30

Expenses – $200 Louie Louie Parade entrance fee.

Income – $20 in dues.

Old business

April 15 – 17 was the first annual Steinjäger Jeep Blitz in Bushnell, Il. Several members, including Matt Brown, Jon Martin, Fraser Yarker, Shannon Duling, Jeff and Sue Fitch, Paul Thannert, Martin McCauley, and Frank Struwe, attended. Lots of sun and good fun with about 100 other jeepers.

There was a trip to the Cliffs on April 23rd. A bit muddy as usual, but all had fun.

New business

On May 14th there is a trip to the Badlands in Attica, In. Check forum for information.

May 27th is the annual Louie-Louie parade to support St. Jude Foundation. Watch forum for information on where to meet for the parade. If you join be sure to bring lots of candy to throw to the crowd.

The weekend of May 28th (Memorial Day weekend) is a run at Duke’s Off-road Ranch. Watch forum for details.

A motion was passed to donate $200 for food for the weekend at Duke’s.

Next Meeting June 4th, 2016 at 6pm at Sonic Drive-In in Pekin, Illinois.
