MIJC Meeting Minutes: September 10th, 2016 at Cranwill’s Drive-In in Pekin, Illinois

Treasurer's Report

Starting: $1819.42

Old business

The 2016 BIG TRIP was July 31st through August 6th in Telluride, Co.

There was a trip to Land Between the Lakes (LBL) over Labor Day weekend.

New business

There are no official (on the schedule) trips during the month of September. However, several club members have expressed interest in attending the Timber Creek Cruise In to benefit St. Jude in Pekin. Cruise In is September 16th, 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The Marin’s will be hosting the October 1st club meeting at their house and having a cookout. All are welcome. Festivities start at 4pm. Please bring your own drinks and chairs to sit in; all other food to be provided. If you need directions to their home, please email Jon, Jill or one of the Club Officers.

The weekend of October 8th is a scheduled trip to Potowatomi in Fulton, Mo. Several individuals will be traveling down on Thursday to ‘wheel on Friday and Saturday. The campground that several will be staying at is the Hanson Hills Campground (http://www.hansonhillscampground.com/ ). If you wish to camp you need to call the campground to get your own reservations. Watch forum for more info.

Duke’s Halloween Run is currently, although tentatively, the weekend of October 29th. Trip to be confirmed at a later date; watch the forum for information.

Next Meeting October 1st, 2016 at the Martin’s home in Pekin, Illinois at 4pm.
