December Meeting Minutes

MIJC Meeting minutes December 1, 2018
Old Business:
Badlands trip on 11/10 was attended by 5 Jeeps and only 1 minor breakdown.
Treasurers Report: Balance $604.97.
New Business:
Nominations were accepted for the open positions as follows:
Vice President – Larry Haas
Safety Director – Mike Peters
Treasurer – Fraser Yarker
No additional nominations were made and all nominations were closed. A motion was then made and passed to suspend the bylaws and have all nominees voted on at once. All officer nominations received a favorable vote.
Tentative 2019 Schedule of Events was presented and discussed.
Membership forms and banquet information was also available. REMINDER: Dues must be paid by January 31st.
The next meeting will be Banquet on January 19th at Pekin American Legion. Social hour 6pm Dinner at 7pm. RSVP by January 10th.
Kenny Wright is working with Sam Leman Morton management on hosting an event sometime in the future and holding the annual inspections there in the future is also a possibility.
