Washita Memorial day weekend

Post by TSEJEEPERS »

Our plant is having a extended shut down so I will not have to work Memorial day weekend.
Since there is no club trip scheduled, anyone up for Wash ita?
Plan on leaving sometime Friday and coming home on Monday.
Leaving early Saturday would work too.

Dave and I were thinking about SMORR. They have a Jeep event going on. Not positive, but kicking around the idea.

Think about joining you. However, we need to move my Dad to SC and it might be that weekend.

It's been forever since I looked at the filters; either Jill or I must have removed it at some point. Originally it was supposed to catch ANY instance of that word, even if it was embedded in the middle of something else, like Washita. Now it's just set to catch the word when it's by itself.

Maybe I need to set "YJ" to be replaced by a more defining phrase...

Yes, but we are going after Memorial weekend. We are headed down Thursday, May 30th, and coming back Sunday, June 2nd. Looks like they have an event that weekend, although they haven't posted many details about the event yet.

Sucks that Washita is closing. That was a beautiful place to offroad and one of my favorites.

I will not be making this trip. My Dads in the hospital and my siblings and I are moving him to memory care facility this coming weekend. Hard to get two weekends off in a row.

Break something for me,

Lida and I are available and would like to do something Memorial Day weekend as well.

I'm not sure we can do the SMORR trip the weekend after, but that's not certain. What does their website mean by "Ranch Open to the Public" event? The Jeep Meet that weekend sounds interesting.

Since Washita is going to be closed, and SMORR is farther to go.
We have decided to do a day trip to Cliffs.

So the trip is back on? If so, is anyone wheeling on Saturday? I have something Friday night and Sunday afternoon, but might be able to go Saturday.

Nope it's off!!
Since Al isn't able to go Tom and I decided not to go either. Plus the weather doesn't look the greatest.

So Tom and I may go to the cliffs, we aren't sure yet , neither of us are thrilled about running in mud.
