4th at Dukes?

Post by Duke Winch »

I will have the 4th through the 7th off. Anyone interested in a 4th of July Dukes' Off Road Ranch Run?

Don't know if I'll have the refrig and oven fixed by then, (there is a refrig in the garage that works), but we'd figure it out. The only other thing is there is absolutely no food in the house, including condiments so everything will need to be brought.

Duke

I don't believe there was anything else on the schedule for that weekend.

I am interested. It wouldn't be any different than camping for the weekend . Just like Washita. But with nice restrooms and AC. Plastic forks, paper plates ECT.

Ya all can still do the 4th Parade and come down on the 5th. As for the meeting something could be figured out.

We could have the Cruise-In / Meeting at Duke's. It would be a long way to do a cruise-in but we would be happy to bring the smoker along and do up some meat. We had a really good turnout last October. Just offering a suggestion.

See the home page. The meeting has now been moved to July 13th at the Hog Eat; the Hog Eat was also rescheduled for the 13th from the August date as it worked better for our host.

Wheeling at Duke's is thursday, friday, and saturday. Welcome to come at anytime during theses days.
Steve is a little internet challenged at the moment so he asked me to post up about food.
He is getting food for breakfast and lunch. Bring whatever else you would like but remember he has no ovens. His refridgerator in the garage is still working. Also available are a couple of electric skillets, a crockpot and the grill. BYOB, lawn chairs, and willingness to have a good time.
If you have an air mattress you might want to bring it.

So who is going Saturday and is anyone interested in driving down together? What time is everyone planning on wheeling Saturday morning? Trying to figure out how early we need to leave Peoria.

Hey, anyone else think the idea of adding a cement pond at dukes so we have a drive thru bath for the Jeeps is a good idea? Many washing the mud off/out of a Jeep (for my first, but not last time) is a real pain!
