This is my back yard. Go to the event then stop by for a few adult beverages and sit about the camp fire.

I am planning to attend also. Keep us posted if an MIJC group is going to Effingham. Our house is the midway point from Pekin if you come down rt121. Free restrooms and water!

I just made reservations at the Holiday Inn in Effingham. Friday and Saturday (August 22 + 23) The rooms are 99 a night. Make sure you tell them you are with the Jeep Reunion.

You can cancel up to 4pm on the day of arrival.

We are not sure if we will go down Friday or Saturday, but will have a room for when we do decide.

This is one of my weekends off.
We are thinking about going.
If we do it will be Saturday.
Duke do you have room for us Saturday night?

Sure ... Effingham's about an hour away by interstate, shorter if you know the back roads.

Unless the event has grown in size since the Springfield Reunion a few years ago, you will easily be able to see it all in one day. Effingham is also home for the Mid America Corvette business. They have a free Corvette museum that is nice to see at least once. Also, the state's largest 'Cross' is in Effingham. Just a plethora of things to see!
