My hydro steering became so sloppy that it was dangerous to drive the Jeep on the street. Took a quarter turn of the steering wheel prior to the wheels reacting. Called PSC and turned out it was a simple fix. The cylinder is double ended with the piston attached to one rod and the opposite rod is screwed into that. That rod came partially unscrewed allowing fluid to bypass through the threads to the opposite side. That required more flow and pressure to overcome the leakage to turn the wheels. Tighten it all back up and everything now works great. Taught me a lesson to check the tightness on the drag link jam nuts a bit more often to prevent a similar occurrence.
I like easy (and cheap).
