The bungs welded in the frame that the bolts holding up the skid plate screw into are rusted out. Before I take off on my own repair adventure, has anyone done this repair and if so how, where you get the parts etc?

These may work for you. If the stand height is a little too much, perhaps you could grind or face them down.

I started working on my Jeep awhile back with the goal of stopping all the leaks and rebuilding a very tired engine. The repair list keeps growing as I move along ...

1. Rear wheel seals. Turned into replacing all of the bearings, seals, ring & pinion (pinion chipped), and installing speedy seals so the seals will not leak and require me to replace all of the prior stuff anytime soon.

2. Front driveshaft U-joint Shot

3. Front differential inner seals leaking.

4. Rear engine seal leaking.

5. All of the hydraulic steering hose fittings leaking. (They were the screw the ends on yourself style) Going to NAPA make me a set.

6. Oil pan badly bashed and will need replacement. (May add an oil pan skid to my future.)

I'm sure when I tear into the front diff I'll find more ways to Just Empty Every Pocket.
