Lifted Liberty going to Badlands
For those of u haven't heard yet,Loren is taking the Liberty to the Badlands! This could be an interesting weekend. Can the Liberty come out of the Badlands unscaved? UHMMMMM Should Tom lead the way knowing where tree branches might NoT hit him? Or follow the bumble bee over terrian(pink trail) where breakage wouldn't happen?Maybe he should follow behind Dr. Dirt in case he needs a hook? Ok,just trying to build up the drama and have fun. So,don't forget the cameras.
Re: Lifted Liberty going to Badlands?

Re: Lifted Liberty going to Badlands
Hey Loren! Did I mention I have some wheels and tires for sale? They sure would look cool on that liberty! My wife wont let me put them on hers! LOL! Some jibber jabber about not being able to get in!
I think the liberty looked right at home!

Re: Lifted Liberty going to Badlands
I do believe you did mention something about tire and rims for sale. But I know better to not even think of mentioning anything about more new tires, since the ones I have are only 3 months old. But I would have to agree that Liberty (either your wifes or mine) would look good. If we still have ours this time next year I'll need to come up with some kind of change before the turkey parade. Have a year to think...hmm.

Liberty broke
Loren broke the Liberty. The Liberty was really doing better than i thought it might. With open difs and snow tires did good in the sand. All though when flexing was to much with open difs was sometimes difficult. But he did manage to move on. Anywho,Loren asked me to post this because he doesnt own a computer yet.He broke the left front CV joint. He ordered it from auto zone saturday and would be here in 3 days.Loren was wanting to know if anyone be around to help install the cv shaft later this week??
BROKEN LIBERTY
Well, we went, we did good, and then it happened . Lost my 4 wheel drive. But we made it home safe. I did find the left front cv joint/axle broken inside the boot. The part will be tomorrow ($50) so I'm asking who and when any of you would be available to fix me. Todd also posted this sunday for me on the mijc events.

Re: Lifted Liberty going to Badlands
Must be too much skinny pedal!
By the way i blew a trailer tire on the way home ... less than 300 miles on a new set of tires. Thanks Al for stopping to help out though I already had the tire changed out ... I saw you hanging back until you were sure I was done

Re: Lifted Liberty going to Badlands
We want to thank you guys again; Al, Todd, Matt and everyone else who watched out for us on saturday. My cv joint/axle is here. Now we just have to figure out how to install it.
Re: Lifted Liberty going to Badlands
I appreciate you all allowing us to tag along on Sunday, we had a great time and you are all a great group to wheel with. We were in the red YJ, me, my dad, and my daughter and son.
After you guys headed out in the late afternoon, we headed for the dunes. Had fun blasting up them in 2nd gear at 4000rpms, then watched the ATV's play for a while.
Maybe we'll see you up there again. Let me know if you plan a trip to Washita, it's nearby and I'll come down to play.

Jeeps never die they just present us with reasons to upgrade!
We need to research to see if anyone out there makes stronger axle shafts for Liberty.
