When I first started reading this thread, I thought maybe it was separate from the original so it could be in memorial of Derek Stimeling: "I'm going, no wait, I can't, I mean, yes I'm going, maybe."

Anyway, I am going, and it's Jill's fault
plus I want to see somewhere different.

Fishing Cabin - Bunk Bed, futon, no water - 40.00 per night for 4 people. 5.00 each additional person
Mobile Home - 3br with water - 65.00 per night for 4 people. 5.00 each additional person

I just called to make reservations at the campground and she said it is first come first serve. She said they will have plenty of room that weekend. I guess I don't understand how they know that when people don't make reservations. Oh well.

BUT... If you are planning on staying in a cabin, you MUST make reservations.

Yeah they told us that last year and we almost didn't get enough spots. Post up a guestimate of when you expect to get there and we may see about getting the person that will be arriving first money to camp so we can have all the spots together. This is what we ended up having to do last time or we would have been seperated all over the place.

Camping that I know of is:

Matt and crew need 4 full hookup sites for 2 nights
(I) Jill needs 1 full hookup site for 2 nights
Fraser needs 1 full hookup site for 2 nights

I plan on getting to the campground around 7:30 on Friday night.

OK, one week to go... now we need to make food plans. We will be bringing the stove and pans to do breakfast at camp on saturday and sunday morning. Let it be known what you want to eat, we will probably do eggs, bacon and sausage of some sort. If there is interest, we could do hot dogs/pork burgers at the park for lunch. Any suggestions on supper for Saturday night? There is a good italian/pizza place in town the we hit last year if we decide to not fix supper at camp.

I just called and asked if we could bring firewood. The answer was NO. The wood has to be from Sullivan County.

After thinking about the wood situation, I was thinking..... So I called and asked if we could bring lumber. The answer was YES!! So if you have some old lumber sitting around throw it in.

We have flooding here at Duke's all day today and through tomorrow night. Redbird is pretty much straight East of here so I checked their forecast ...

# Tomorrow night: Showers in the evening, then cloudy overnight. Low 43F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.
# Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 62F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.
# Sunday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the upper 30s.
# Monday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 50s and lows in the mid
