Yup still on! I'll be watching the weather though ... It's been pretty wet and though we all like to play in the mud there is a point where it's just plain stupid, aka the first run this year.

So who's planning on attending? Tom said he and Sally would rather go to a Bears game, traders! (Though there doing pretty good this year). So I'll be looking for alternate kitchen help this time out.

I'm pretty certain that Lisa and I plan on joining in for the weekend. I haven't had a chance to look the jeep over from last weekend's trip but I'm expecting things to still look good. We'd be more than happy to trade you some alternate kitchen help for a couple square feet of warm/dry floor space. :D

For those planning on bringing food ... Your welcome to use my kitchen to prepare it here. It's a lot easier to bring the ingredients than the finished dish. I have anything you would need, including a crook pot for chili.

I was planning on providing breakfast and the fixin's for lunch sandwiches. Any ideas for supper for Friday/Saturday night?

We are new to the group, thinking of becoming members too. I have a 94 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 33" tires, Mickey Thompson rims, stock 6, beautiful little beast 8)

Looking forward to the Halloween run this weekend. Can't wait to meet everyone and see all the awesome Jeeps in one place!!! Any tips or advice for this first run would be most appreciated, as mine is stock and I certainly don't want to break down by taking the wrong trail!!!!!

Ken & Shell, we normally follow each other on the trail and put a new person in the middle. Steves place is 40 acres. Mostly dirt hills of different steepness.(could be some mud also) . If anyone does'nt want to go up or down thats fine with us(no pressure from anyone), mostly its up to you. You will be able to see the other jeeps there, on the trails as we go up or down We tend to get stacked up and get out and watch the other jeeps. Feel free to ask anyone any ? while your there (like, do you think I can make it up or down) , we will be honest about what we think you or your jeep will or won't handle.

Later this week some will post up when they are leaving . You would be more than welcome to follow ( or lead if you think you can find the place) steves is about 2 and a half hours from peoria. If you need directions pm TSE and they will send them to you or you could call me . I will pm you my number

If you would happen to not want to drive your jeep up or down anything but would like to ride I have a open seat. some wives walk up (my wife for one) some of the more steep ones, Its great exersize. O, and don't listen to Todd

STEVE, you asked about eating friday night . Did'nt you tell me steaks were cooked on friday, That would be my vote.

Yup ... Friday Night is steak and taters, just need a head count.

I have nothing planned for dinner Saturday and thought I would leave it up to the group as to who brings/cooks/drags from the woods to eat.

Ken & Shell welcome! The post above pretty much says it all except he missed the fact you better come hungry! We're more of an eating club with Jeep issues. The difficulty of the trails totally depends on the weather. If it's dry a stock Jeep will have little trouble and if it's wet things can get pretty interesting and makes for a lot more stories about the campfire. Looking forward to meeting you!
