Info regarding: March 13 – Colchester Quarry, Macomb IL

What's the story with this on the schedule. It's in Macomb which is so very close that I'd love to attend. Can anyone give me some info?

Directions: make your way to Macomb, then head west out of town on highway 136. Once you get to the town of Colchester, continue through town to the west side, then turn right (north) at the last street in town, Constitution Road. This road will turn back west again. After about 3/4 mile, there will be an intersection, stay to the right. A short while later you'll cross a bridge, then pass by one driveway on the right and turn into the second driveway, there will be a big blue gate.

The Plan: meet at 9am at the quarry. The trails are made for Jeep CJ/Wrangler sized vehicles, and this place will put scratches in your paint. No full/over sized vehicles allowed. Bring a lunch. Absolutely no alcohol allowed on the property. Run the trails until about 5pm, then head into Macomb to eat at a local pizza place.

I'll be bringing my son, his friend and friend's father with me. We're up for a convoy, but we're in Elmwood (west of Peoria), so would probably meet as you passed this way.

Won't make the inspections cause the wife planned a trip to Chicago. Thought it best that I go....I'll need the brownie points for later trips.

we plan on meeting @ 7;00. the only problem is i found a hole in my radiater tonight at one of the fan mounting bolts, i've already got it out and it's going to the repair shop in the morning, i could have it back tomorrow night - friday at the latest. so i should still be there.
