I know this will sound like a broken record, but while pulling the rear diff out of the Scrambler Monday, I sustained another fractured rib. So, this will slow my progress on getting the Scrambler ready for Moab. Consequently, I will not be making the Easter trip to Flat Nasty this year.

I will be headed down on Thursday. Not sure which group I will travel with. Dad will be leaving on Thursday also and meeting a late group as they pass the Carlinville exit.

I'll be there, but for one day's wheeling only. Family is putting together a Easter family gathering. What day, Friday or Saturday will be the most best wheeling?
Thanks,

In my opinion it would be Friday. Since you could do Friday or Saturday why don't you do all day Friday and 1/2 day Saturday? Now that sounds like a good plan!!

Refresh my memory, what time would the group likely leave the cam grounds to head to Flat Nasty? Trying to figure out where I'm at the night before and the drive.
Thanks,

I'm planning to go, and leave Thursday morning.

And, to Jill's question: 9am-ish is about right. Sometimes it ends up being closer to 10am by the time we get to the park.

I will not be making it ... sniff, sniff  Not only will I not get the weekend off they extended my sentence here due to good behavior. Perhaps if I start screwing up they'll let me go early, do think selling drugs to the boss on my lunch hour would be a bit too much?

Have fun guys and I'll see ya at Moab.

I'm interested in going, but I don't think the jeep will be ready, is there anyone that's interested in letting the wife and I ride in the back seat maybe? We can drive our self down and back of course.
By the way, I'm Brian, I'm new, and and plan on joining at the next meeting.
Thanks

Hello Brian and Family! I'm afraid I'm not going to make the Nasty, so no ride here. But I did want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the club. Looking forward to seeing you on the trails.
