Re: Dukes April 5th
Thanks to everyone that joined me this weekend. The weather turned perfect and though the trails were a bit muddy, requiring more skinny pedal than usual, okay A LOT more, fun was had by all with only modest assistance from the cable.
Looking forward to seeing ya all at the "Nasty".

Re: Dukes April 5th
Had a great time!
My Jeep has not been this muddy in an long time.
I have to say thanks not only to Steve but also to my two new heros.
On my way back home just before Raymond I lost my sepertine belt on my truck.
Matt ran me to Litchfield to purchase a new belt. (I bought two)
Bill waited around till we got back.
We put the belt on and Bill followed me home.
Right around Hopedale I lost the belt again.
Bill helped me put the other one on.
It is so nice to have great freinds!
Pretty sure my power steering pulley is bent and too far foward on the shaft.

Re: Dukes April 5th
Thanks Duke!!!
i broke the U joint in my 1979 Dana 30 on the drivers side, this also took out knuckle where it meets the top ball joint. with the help of our great club members we got the jeep winched up skinny pedal hill, THANKS GUYS AND GALS!!! These were the original axle shafts, with new U joints, once at the top of the hill I removed the front drive shaft and drove the Q-trac Jeep to the trailer. i believe the breakage was due to the abuse i've put this Jeep though, the 360 and a lot of skinny pedal in Second gear, and those darn tree roots that cross the trails.
Thanks for letting me ride along Dan.
Bill
