I accepted a position for the next 4 months, with a possible extension, which will allow me to be home most weekends, however it's not going to allow me to go to Colorado. I'm afraid I have to back out.

So it it 3 weeks to Colorado! They will send me directions to the houses around July 20th. I will email the directions to everyone once I get them. There was some discussion on when everyone were leaving to go to Colorado. We are able to get in the houses on July 31st at 4:00pm. Some people are leaving early to go out to enjoy some sight seeing on the way there. Normally, we have left on early saturday morning and get as close to Denver as we can/want and the rest of the way sunday. So post up with when you might leave. This way we can go as a group or a few groups different days. Tom and I are looking to leave friday and take our time going out. Stop and see some things along the way. We do have one open spot available if you know of a person who would like to go. Cost is still $367.00 if you know of someone.

Larissa and I plan on leaving Friday around 3 p.m. and staying in Lincoln Nebraska that night. Then we will be going to Estes Park Sat to meet up with two friends that retired out that way. Staying the night Sat at KOA Campground. Should be in Ouray the next day about 4 p.m. !

Home from awesome trip to Colorado. A big Thank You to Tom & Sally for the time & effort spent getting us a very nice place to stay. Location was close to the trails & got to travel million dollar highway each day. Thanks also to Bill & Vicki and Al & Kat for being our trail guides. Carb problems for Scott & Pam, battery for Shannon & Joy, small transfer case shifter issue for me, and a complete front end overhaul for Tom (did I hear someone say "Golden Axle" award?) & Sally on the Commander. Great People = Great Fun!

I would hardly call a front drive shaft CV joint a complete front end over haul.
I am sure it was a combo of 150,000 miles and the trail.
We had a great time too.
