We are not. Sophia has her 1st softball game at 5:15. Didn't the parade used to be like at 1 in the afternoon?

It was definitely earlier a few years ago than it is now.

Totally would have done this If it had been on the calendar. I work in Peoria Heights.

See below. Are you not able to view the calendar on your device? If you click on the event, it will bring up more information.Tim the Barber wrote:No, it wasn't. But that's ok.
You can also follow the PDF link on that same page and download the whole schedule in a list format that fits on one page.

And it is not on the pdf calendar. If you see it there, please feel free to point it out. Because I haven't been able to find it for the last several months. Might be why turnout was low.

Re: Louie Louie Parade Details - 5-26
Aha, correct you are. I didn't look there; sorry about that. That PDF is generated by our Events Coordinator, Al Wallace. He may not have known when exactly the parade would be in late 2016 when he created it. Also, although we've done the Louie Louie Parade every year for at least 15 years, our participation in it is subject to a donation from the club to St. Jude that we vote on in a meeting, so it's not necessarily a sure thing. But given our history, it nearly is. We can at least guess at the date and put it as "tentative" on future printed schedules.
Normally I put all our events from that list (once approved by the club) into the website calendar, and add others as we create them. So the interactive calendar on the schedule page would be the most up-to-date thing to check, or the MIJC home page where I write about what's coming up, or here in the forum as well. In the future I will try to keep the PDF updated if there is a change too. But I get what you're saying... a lot of members may have that sheet hanging on the fridge at home from when it was handed out at a meeting, so they didn't see that there was something going on.
