Wheelenworld trip
Well the start wasn't as good as anticipated, the fuel pump got real tired on tom's truck just outside of Springfield but after an hour and a half and a hole in the truck bed And a new fuel pump delivered by duke we were back on the road. Then heavy rain from Springfield mo. to Eureka Springs, then the trailers we were going to have were leaking so we're split up in separate trailers. But we're here and safe and looking forward to some good wheeling tomorrow. Also had some awesome Babyback ribs at jill's barbaque.

Re: Wheelenworld trip
Day one of wheeling was a good time, no damage to speak of except a hole in the huskers tire cover a Shannon's jeep and a couple overheating issues but not enough to stop anyone. Did mainly 2,3 trails with a couple 4 & 5's mixed in. Looked at some good trails for tomorrow. Highlight of the day was when Tom got to pull duke out when he tried to follow bill's cj.

Re: Wheelenworld trip
Had a good time on the trails today, I threw the belts and duke had a small elec. fire but a quick trip to orielly's solved both problems. Tried some harder trails today and there are a lot of challenges here, Shannon did have to use his wench once, only one all weekend, there were some scary moments. There are a lot of steep hillclimbs with a high pucker factor. Oh and one other thing don't anybody ask Tom about hamburger hill!!!

Re: Wheelenworld trip
Vicki and I had a great time. Wheeling was good, and Al's parents and brother came for a visit. It was great to meet them, many story's were shared around the campfires.
Thanks to Al and Kat for doing the leg work on the trip.

Kat and I also had a great time with good friends, my parents really enjoyed dinner sat nite and the camp fire sun. Chuck also had a good time wheeling sun, I see a jeep in his future. Looking forward to the next trip.

Re: Wheelenworld trip
It was a fantastic time! I enjoyed getting to know everyone and really appreciated being included in all the fun. As always, I learned a ton more about offroading. You guys know so much and are excellent teachers. I even got to use the winch.... Thanks everyone,
Shannon
