OK, I need a little help locating a part. I need a set (4) of the CJ's Tailgate Cable Bolts. Any ideas on where to locate them? Looks like I need two at a min for the tailgate, and will get by with shoulder bolts for the body side.

Re: CJ's Tailgate Cable Bolts
Well, upon further inspection, I guess the bolts aren't the big issue, the tailgate brackets are. Guess I'll build a set of those and just use shoulder bolts.
Thanks,
Will

Re: CJ's Tailgate Cable Bolts
Thats what i been wanting to do with mine Will. just couldn't figure out how to do the pivot at the bottom. although i do have to make a new gate. mine kinda got damaged at Dukes. I had a thought, just now.if you still had the old hinges, use them maybe to flip down? should be heavy enough.

Re: CJ's Tailgate Cable Bolts
If you really want to do that, I think it would be easier and better to do what Will did and use a CJ tailgate and hinges. There is additional material and nutserts inside the tailgate where the hinges bolt on to make it stiffer and support the weight better. Even if you could somehow get the old hinges to fit on there turned 90 degrees, there wouldn't be much for them to attach to.

Re: CJ's Tailgate Cable Bolts
