Re: Posting pictures from our website to others
It's a little tricky since I put that plug-in that zooms pictures nice and big when you click on them. What you need to do is find the actual URL for the photo you want to post. To do that, first find the thumbnail list for the trip. I picked Duke's from July of last year.
http://www.mijc.org/photos/2012-2/dukes ... nch-72012/
Instead of left-clicking on the photo you want to view it, you need to right-click on it and get the address where the photo is. The menu that pops up is going to be different depending on what browser you're using. On Firefox, it's "Copy Link Location":
On Chrome, it's "Copy Link Address":
Internet Explorer may be something different... I don't have a PC so I don't know what that one is. You want to get the URL or address of the link.
Once you copy the link address, that will put the address of the photo on the clipboard. Note: do not use "Copy Image URL" or "Copy Image Location". That will copy the address of the thumbnail image and not the larger linked photo.
Now go to the forum and use that address to put the photo in your post. Forums use different software, although a lot use what we do here (phpBB). On this forum, you would type it in like this (paste in the address you copied using ctrl-V on a PC or command-V on a Mac):
Which would give you an inline photo like this:
Make sense?

Re: Posting pictures from our website to others
Bill's method of doing it from a smartphone works too... it's a little crude though, since you are also saving all the surrounding information (phone signal strength, buttons, surrounding pictures, etc). I'm assuming that you are trying to do this from your computer, Tom.

I swear that picture of Tom has been photo shopped. That's Satan's Crack and there is no way he made it through that.
