MIJC Meeting Minutes: February 1st, 2014 @ EP's Timeout in East Peoria, Illinois

Treasurer's Report

Income – Annual Banquet Fees, Club Member Dues

Expenses – Payment to Brown family for Annual Dinner meat, Frank for video DVDs

New Business

March 1st - Annual Inspections. Todd Watkins has contacted Uftring Jeep in North Pekin about holding our inspections there again this year, and Uftring Jeep is happy to host us. Please arrive at 12:30pm, and drive to the back of the building to enter the service bay.

Motion was passed for the club to buy lunch at inspections.

Jon Martin spoke about proposing a revision to the inspection procedure to better find issues rather than follow the current checklist. If Jon has a better suggestion for the procedure at inspections, he will post his ideas on the forum. Otherwise, the current inspection form may be found on the website.

Please remember that inspections are not required to participate in MIJC functions as the quality of each Jeep is the responsibility of the owner, per our bylaws. However, it is recommended to have your Jeep inspected each year.

There is a trip planned to the Badlands March 22nd. Post on the forum if you are interested in participating.
