MIJC Meeting Minutes: December 6, 2014 at Avanti’s, Pekin, Illinois

Treasurer's Report

Start: $1,468.43

End: $1,385.58

Income – T-shirt sales

Expenses – Food for October Halloween Run

Old Business

Trip to Badlands on November 15th. Four jeeps were in attendance: Bill Gangloff, Matt Brown, Dan Brown and Shannon Dulling. All had a good time

New Business

Annual Banquet date has been moved to January 24th, 2015. The Banquet will be held at the American Legion, 718 Court St., Pekin, Illinois and starts at 6pm. Please bring a side dish to share at the Banquet. Jan Brown will be cooking the main dish. Cost to attend the Annual Banquet is $5 per person.

A motion was passed to pay the fee to hold the Annual Banquet at the American Legion. The cost will be $100.

A motion was passed to spend up to $1000 in door prizes. The intent is for the club will provide a door prize for every membership that attends the Annual Banquet unless the $1000 limit is reached first. The final cost of door prizes will be determined by the number of memberships that attend (if less than $1000).

Jon and Jill Martin will be hosting a pre-Banquet party at their home. The Martin pre-Banquet party will start at 3pm.

Annual Dues are due by January 30th for existing members. $30.00 for the year. After Jan. 31 2015 there is a late fee of $10.00, thus best to pay on time. You can download the form from the Homepage; go to INFO tab and then ABOUT US. Forms and dues may be mailed to the Treasurer or handed to any Officer.

Election of Officers: all three positions up for election re-elected the incumbent individual for another two years. Kat Wallace was re-elected Vice President. Jon Martin was re-elected Treasurer. Matt Brown was re-elected Safety Director.

Al Wallace presented a final 2015 schedule proposal.

A motion was passed to accept Al’s final proposed 2015 schedule as final.

Next Meeting will be at the Annual Banquet on January 24th, 2014 at the American Legion in Pekin, Illinois at 6pm.
