Potowatomi Oct. 10

Post by TSEJEEPERS »

Anyone plan on going?
We are thinking about it. It will depend on whether I can get the vacation days or not.
If we do go we will leave sometime on Friday Oct. 9
Jon/ Jill/ Will what is the name of the campsite that we used to stay at? I know it is a different name now. Do they still have primitive camping?

We were wondering the same thing. If you're going to the meeting sat, we can talk to who ever's going, and see what everyone wants to do.

I couldn't make it to the meeting. Are people still going to Potowatomi? Traveling Friday and Sunday and wheeling on Saturday?

Potowatomi Oct. 10 Trip Report

Post by Duke Winch »

Had excellent weather for wheeling and a great time had by all. 10 Jeeps in attendance and other than some new California Pin Stripes, (they need to go out and do some trail clearing), no damage to report. I had a tire go flat but was an easy fix once home, valve core went bad.

Thanks to Al and Kat for adopting us and making certain no one went hungry.

Our neighbor in the campsite stopped by and ask "What part of Illinois are you from?" to which was answered, "The Peoria area." To which he responded "Do you know Jon Martin?" which took all of us by surprise. "Yeah we all know Jon!" He went on "I'm Jon's cousin" and Sally responded "Donny's brother?" So we now know Paul.
