MIJC Meeting Minutes: February 6th 2016 at Avanti’s in Pekin, Illinois

Treasurer's Report

Starting: $882.42

Ending: $1862.43

Income – Annual dues, banquet dues and T-shirt / merchandise sales

Expenses – Ordering t-shirts and gift cards for Annual Dinner door prizes

Old business

Last month was our Annual Dinner. Great time and good food.

Jon reminded all of us that there was no video at the Annual Dinner this year due to a lack of sufficient pictures and video from 2015. Please be sure to take plenty of pictures and video in 2016 so we can have an Annual Video at next year’s Dinner.

We would also like to remind all of us to be sure to send an RSVP if you plan to attend the Annual Dinner. This helps ensure we do have enough food for all.

New business

Our next event is the Annual Inspections on March 5th at Uftring Jeep in North Pekin starting at 12:30 pm.

A motion was passed to buy two dozen doughnuts for the technicians on Monday after Inspections.

A motion was passed for the club to provide $200 for food for the March Flat Nasty trip.

Travis Martin posted that he plans to go to the Badlands in Attica, In April 8th – 10th. Watch our Facebook page and the forum for more information.

The Club will be receiving a $854 rebate from 4WD as a percentage of our spend with 4WD from 2015. However, this year 4WD has requested that the club fill out a few forms, including providing our tax ID information. Jill is working to complete this process; we have not been asked to do this in the past.
