I'm sure we'll have serveral people participating, as in past years. There is a $100 entry fee for groups, and we'll need to approve that at our meeting Saturday.

From the entry form: The Parade once again begins at 3:30 sharp on Friday May 27th and takes off from the Civic Center Lot on Fulton and Monroe. We will be lining up the parade in the Peoria Civic Center Parking Lot at 2:45pm. We ask that your entire group be at the civic center no later then 3:15. The parade steps off at 3:30, down the short stretch of Fulton, then SW Monroe, to Main St, and ending at the foot of Main at the Landing

This yearís event will take place at Peoriaís Landing on the Riverfront. The lineup for the music festival includes the best of the best in local and regional bands. Admission to the music festival will be FREE from 4 until 7, after that just $3 per person, or save by bringing a friend and get two tickets for $5

If your group leaves any vehicles in the civic center parking lot, they must be picked up and moved prior to your attendance to the River Jam. All vehicles must be out of the Civic Center parking lot by 4:30pm or they may be towed at your own expense!

I'd like to thank those who turned out for the Louie Louie parade... a good time as-always, and I'd say a record turnout... 13 vehicles by my count.

And for those of you keeping score, the dog poop has been removed from my Jeep.

I had a great time at the parade since all of the vehicles that I routinely work on made it there and back. Last count, 5 out of the 13 vehicles in our group.
