Anyone interested in The Cliffs on the 29th.\?? Loren,Mike(newby that wants to join the club) and me plan on going there.

Nice meeting you guys, sorry about the trans issue.

I loaded it up after trying about ten gallons of water from the creek and took it to the car wash to rinse out the clutch, it worked at getting it to engage. So i came back to the Cliffs, unstrapped it, hit the key and nothing.
Then I tapped on the starter, got it running. Great now I can find you guys again. Put it in gear to back off of the trailer. Nothing That is when I threw in the towel and headed home for the day, with my tail between my legs.

I guess I will just swap in the auto and be done with it. darn clutch anyway.
Hope you didn't experience anything that extreme the rest of the day, but hey i told you I could find you some mud. I just didn't think it was so deep. That is what a stick it for I guess.

I will catch up with you guys some other time if you still want to.

Update:
Got the clutch out the other day... The pressure plate was so full of mud that when I pressed the pedal it bent in the fingers. I had to replace the pressure plate and the clutch disc. I also turned the flywheel to take out the small grooves. about .005 of an inch deep. Not too bad for the abuse I give it.

I also lost my return spring for the clutch lever in the hole somewhere and when I pressure washed the clutch that day I must have just pushed water into the trans because it was full of clean water. Glad I tore it out.

Now I am researching what auto will make an easy swap for my setup so I do the swap this winter.

Hopefully we'll see u there again.We did go in circles one time trying to figure out trail 1. Silver JK left after lunch to check out jc Whitney. So,the 2 TJ's hit the trails till 4:30.
