Hey gang,

Anyone with knowledge or comments/concerns on the JEEP Comanche's with the GM 2.8L V-6 Engine? Once coming up at an auction here and I might go check it out.

Put the 318 in it, but wait, it's not a Ram, whoops I meant Dodge.

the GM Metric Tranny bolt pattern would mean more than an engine swap.

taken care of, they will last a very long time. had one in a cherokee of the same age with 250k. pain is the 60 degree v bolt pattern on the tranny. gm did offer a 3.4 60 degree v-6 that made decent power, but it was mainly in a front wheel drive car and they didn't cast in the motor mounts. the 3.4 was offered as a drop in replacement for the 2.8 in the camero so there are a few out thrre that would bolt in.
