Future meetings?

EPs looks to be the place.
We did talk to them last week. They are willing to host our meetings.
First meeting there will be in Feb.
This will be announced at the banquet so everyone knows.

If everyone is upset with the situation at Goodfellas, why are we going to spend any time or money in their establishment? Can't we go to EP's for the December meeting?

All those in favor......I think this would fall under the decision making skill of the board. An e-mail blast to the members would solve the notification concerns.

I would agree, but we have already made plans with Goodfellows.
This years schedule has Goodfellows for the club meeting.
I know e mails could be sent out but not all of our members have the internet and others may not check their e mails too often.
I would really hate to change the location and have people show up with no meeting.
The club is buying pizza so there should be no problem as far as getting food orders.

Maybe you weren't at the last election.... We called ahead for the pizza to be ready at noon, we got it at 12:45. If you want to change the location, I will call all the members and inform them of the location change. Also, are we sure that goodfellas knows about the meeting? For the last several months they have appeared shocked that we showed up and it seemed like we were an inconveince to them.

At the last meeting, I personally went and spoke with the waitress about next month's meeting. She marked it on the calender and I told her we would also being ordering at least 8 - 10 pizzas for the meeting. I was planning on calling them during the week to let them know our order and time. With the change of ownership.... they did not have us on the calender for the previous meetings. I agree that we have the the date, place and time on the schedule for 2013, in the month's meeting minutes online, and should leave it for the December meeting. When we spoke with the general manager at EP's, we told him it would also be for the Febuary and April 2014 meetings at their location. We want to make sure everyone knows before we up and change in midstream/month. This way we can also make changes to the 2014 schedule to be voted on at the next meeting also. Don't want to burn any bridges with the local businesses if things don't workout.
