West Peoria 4th of July Parade

All of this info can also be seen at www.wplions.org, under parade. The parade starts at 10 am on July 4 in West Peoria, IL. Line up starts at 8:30 am and all groups should be in place no later than 9:45. Give yourself time to decorate once you get to the spot.

We have been assigned spot 34 in the parade line up. Line up is on the west end of Rohmann Ave, between Swords Ave and Sterling Ave. ALL parade entrants MUST enter from Swords Ave from Farmington Rd. Swords Ave is the street where Kartville is located for thos familiar with it. There is a BP gas station at the intersection of Farmington Rd and Swords Ave. Be time cautious of those going through intersection of Main and University as traffic moves slowly through there. There is an information booth near Rohmann on Swords and volunteers throughout to help find spot 34.

Any trailers or people only riding in parade/club vehicles and driving other cars, can be parked at the Lutheran Center or Calvin Coolidge School on Rohmann.

The parade is rain or shine. Decorating in a patriotic theme of the United States is STRONGLY encouraged. All the information here, including parade map, is on www.wplions.org.
