Cliffs on Saturday 7/18?

Last I heard cliffs was closed due to excessive water. Not sure if there open yet, anyone know?

Yeah, Cliffs doesn't look good. What about Badlands?

Well Cliffs Dwellers, we're going to open this weekend. We don't recommend that stock vehicles come out, its going to be nasty! We will need a couple of dry weeks before we can do any work on the trails, and I'm not sure that Illinois is EVER going to have 2 dry weeks in a row again!
So don't come out alone unless you have a winch. Nd bring your own tow straps and shackles. Like we have said in the past, if you have to get pulled out, you may get charged, our volunteers are tearing up their gear and need to be able to fix it.
The best way to get to the Bluffs will be to take trail 3 to easy up 44. Ask the staff.
