The club has a scheduled trip to the Hillbillie Ranch this coming Saturday 7/21. It is located in Jerseyville, Illinois (20491 Otterville Rd, Jerseyville, Illinois 62052) which looks like about 2.5 hours south from the Peoria area.

They open at 9 am. Flags are required. If you don't have one, it appears that you can purchase one there.

Post up if you are going!

I'm still in move limbo, so I can't, but sure hope to make it back out before the year's over.

Land Between The Lakes has a posability .
Moonlight Racing, located in Sullivan, MO and the Potawatomi Off-Road Park in Fulton, MO are my best chances.

I have tried calling and got a full voicemail box. I will try to call again tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be open.

Yes they will be open this weekend. They are also hosting the illinois gambler 500 mini bike rally so there should be plenty of entertainment.

Yea OK I will give it a shot.
I am still not happy about the way the last outing took place.
Do we plan on meeting there at 0900?

I am new to the club and have never been to a off-road park. Do most of you trailer your Jeeps or just drive them there? And what all would I need to bring so I know in the future. Ex: lunch, drinks, etc. I would like to go this weekend

Colton - yes, most people do trailer their jeeps, mostly because they're not exactly highway friendly, and also because it's good to have a reliable way to get home in the event of significant trail damage. If you do drive your jeep to the park, just consider that you have to drive it home when choosing which obstacles to tackle and how.
Not being familiar with this park, I don't know if they have a place to purchase food and drink, or if there is anything nearby. We generally bring drinks and snacks at a minimum.

Colton many of us if not all of us at one time drove our Jeeps to wheel.
It just has got to a place most of our Jeeps are toys.
If you do have a problem and can not drive your Jeep home we will figure out a way to get it, and you home.
Some common sense goes a long way.
The last time we were there it looked like there was a place to get lunch.
I am not planning on bringing lunch so if it is not open I will be going to town.
Yes you do need to bring at least water to drink on the trails.

There is a good chance that they will have a food truck(s) onsite tomorrow. If not, food is only about a 15 minute drive into town. Always a good idea to bring snacks and drinks anytime you go wheeling, never know when you might get stuck/break down and miss lunch.

Fraser has covered it perfectly. If you drive your vehicle to the park, just moderate what obstacles you take on to insure you can still make it home. Almost everyone brings tools. I carry everything but the kitchen sink. So we probably have that covered in the event you need it.

Hope to see you there!

I had a lot of fun!
Trails were good and will get better with some time.
It was dry when we were there, add some rain and it would be real interesting.
Keep in mind they are only open on the weekends.
From what we heard they have concerts every weekend, so staying the night would be a option.
There was a guy cooking for lunch, the pork chop sandwich I had was really good!
I would go back.
