March 2023 meeting minutes

MIJC's March 4th 2023 meeting was held at 1pm at Avanti's in Pekin.
Treasurer's report: expenses since last report, $206.13 for lunch at February meeting, ending balance $633.83.
Discussion occurred regarding upcoming trips:
March 25 Badlands in Attica IN, Bill has posted in the forum.
June 18-24 various parks in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, Shannon has created a Facebook event, so go check that out if you're interested.
August 11-17 Ouray, Ridgeway, Telluride CO area, Jane has booked a house in Ridgeway and it may have all spots full, another next door is thought to still be available, see Jane for details.
Discussed future of club. Fraser motioned that we discontinue use of the website, Jane seconded, all in favor, none opposed. Events will primarily be communicated via Facebook. Domain name will be retained for now.
Fraser motioned to adjourn the meeting, Jill seconded, all in favor, none opposed.
Next meeting Saturday April 1 at 1pm at Avanti's in Pekin, unless good weather would support an outside meeting, then a new location will be communicated.
