It’s summertime! Well not officially quite yet, but June is at least the unofficial start of summer. First up for the club is a meeting coming up this Saturday, June 2nd, 6pm, at Sonic in Pekin. It’s a cruise-in, actually, so bring your appetite and be sure to pace yourself for ice cream at the end. Later in the month on Saturday, June 22nd we have a day-trip to The Badlands in Attica, Indiana planned. This is a good starter park if you’ve never been wheeling, and it’s not very far away. Keep an eye on the forum for travel info.
In July, the holiday weekend pushes our normal meeting back to Saturday, July 13th, 6pm at Lou’s Drive-In in Peoria. The first weekend in July will be our annual 4th of July trip to Duke’s Off-Road Ranch, owned by our own Steve Vohs. Later in the month is a trip to Hillbillie Ranch in Jerseyville, Illinois on Saturday, July 27th. If you’re keeping score at home, that’s a little north of St. Louis.
Lastly, peeking into August, the next cruise-in/meeting will be Saturday, August 3rd at 6pm at the Dream Hut in Bartonville.
