Dave - my 1998 TJ HVAC controls use cables, and have sliding levers for the temp and output selections. But a year or two later, the TJ went to rotary knobs and I think at that point abandoned the cables, for a stepper motor for temp control and ? For the output control. No worries, apparently my psychic abilities are weak too. I remember that West Peoria parade already being long, so if they had expanded it 3x, that would have taken all day! I'll probably go if we leave Duke's on Sunday, but that's still to be determined.
