Will, i'm curious, whats the diameter of the shaft? Also on the splines, it looks to me that toward the flange end it appears the splines are not cut straight. Am i seeing things or is it the picture.

Well, its been awhile but i'm sure i've seen a least one seed.In fact we have a jar of kosher dills in the ice box(i know that you know cause your almost as old as me) and there are seeds in the jar. From what i know ,and thats not much, the hawse is used with synthetic line . The roller is used more with cable. Possibly the cable, has less friction with the rollers. This might not be as much an issue with synthetic. Less weight with the hawse and synthetic also. It think i spelled synthetic rig...

It sounds like its a cj5 from your reply Matt. The glove box is on the passenger side. Now i'm currious , Is the 24 volt system just 1 battery? Also, Could there be a pto provision if it's the stock tranny? I'd like to out do Frank on the ice cream maker :lol: , :idea: a chain saw with a flex shaft....

Correct about low on jeeps.It does appear to be unmolsted for the most part, except for the crome rims, all terrain tires and the 77 era roll bar. What gear ratio would this possibly have? (5.38?) Also on the cowl approx in front of the passenger is a raised area like a later model cj has in the mid...

IT seems as if someone is using the badlands. As a excuse to drive 5 hours to go out to eat.

volunteers get our old AED's(20g's new). We don't use a first aid kit, at least not one that could be bought. Some of the things we most often use are blood pressure cuff, oxygen and related items, c-colars,trama dressings. spinal immobilization equip. we do also have bandaids,achol. preps, 4x4 ster...

I just read this months minutes, A first aid kit is a good idea, altho every jeep should have one. as most of you know i'm a peoria FIREFIGHTER, and that means i am also a emt/b . if whoever is going to buy one for the club needs any sugestions I would be happy to help.
