Mid-Illini Jeepers

At the last meeting it was discussed by the members present and voted on to move our September 7th meeting to the jeep show, in Abingdon, IL. The meeting time will still be 6 pm and will we have the club banners so people can find us. For those who have not seen my previous post on this topic, the jeep show is a fundraising event to benefit the Deputy Troy Chisum Memorial fund. Troy Chisum was the Fulton County deputy who was killed in the line of duty on June 25th.

When:
Saturday September 7th
Jeep Show time is noon – 11 pm (registration 11 am)
OUR meeting time is 6 pm

Where:
Abingdon American Legion Post
546 IL-41, Abingdon, IL

Cost:
$20 per Jeep

Additional information:
There will be food, music, dunk tank, ice cream and an auction

Don't forget there is a meeting this Saturday!

I broke my jeep at LBL, so will not be participating in the show. However, Kim and I plan to arrive 5pm-ish to check things out, contribute to the cause, attend the meeting at 6pm, and wing it from there.

Sorry, wish I could be there but this is my week end to work.
