October 19th Fulton/Potawatomi

Post by Jon Martin »

I just got back from attending the Midwest Willy’s Reunion in Fulton, Mo. Our group went out to the park on Thursday and were informed that approx 35 acres of the park had been sold. The 35 acres were all located in the back where we frequently four wheeled. Anyways you can no longer access the majority of the creek trail, twister, and multiple hill climb areas. I think we should consider changing the location of the October trip since I believe you guys will be disappointed running what’s left.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

One suggestion would be to try a new park located about 20 min from Fulton

I have enjoyed going to Fulton, so it might be a good replacement for Potawatomi. Looks like it could be very muddy though. But the only way to find out is to go and check it out.

Wow, night rides allowed? And a shop with tools available? Looks like a unique place.

So are we looking at doing Potawatomi or Vandyz Offroad Park?
Thanks,

Will,

Unless you know of a reason why we shouldn't check it out, I think Vandyz is it.

I am having truck issues and will not be going this weekend. I hope that everyone who goes has a good time. I am looking forward to hear about this new place.
