ILFWDA Summer Run June 4th & 5th--All Welcome!

Post by alwayssmiling67 »

All,

All 4WDs from All states welcome!

For those of you that still have not RSVP'd for the upcoming ILFWDA

Convention please do so today. You can find the RSVP form as well as further

information online at _www.ilfwda.org_ (http://www.ilfwda.org/) We have also

extended the reservation deadline untill tomorrow 5/25. If you are unable to get

the rsvp mailed in time please shoot us a quick email to let us know that you

plan to attend. I know there are a number of people planning to attend whom

have not RSVP'd. If that is the case with you, please try to RSVP or at

least email us to let us know you plan to attend. This will assure us of having

enough food, drinks, shirts, and the like for everyone in attendance.

Keep in mind we have negotiated discounts with Pine Lakes Resort for

camping. You merely need to mention that your reservation is for the ILFWDA

Convention to receive your discount. You can get more information about Pine Lakes

Resort at _www.pinelakesresort.com_ (http://www.pinelakesresort.com/) We are

also going to be raffling off some great prizes. Total prizes in excess

of $3000 in value will be raffled on Saturday night at Pine lakes after the

convention. We have a set of tires from BFG to raffle, as well as prizes from

Flowmaster, Superlift, Rocky Mountain Suspensions, Drivetrain Specialists,

Tellico 4x4, Bestop, Advance Adapters, K&N, Edelbrock, Bushwacker, and Redneck

Concepts.

I also just got a call from Grant Reid at Redneck Concepts and he is going

to be attending as well. So you will have a chance to ask him all the

questions you want about the Redneck Ram, Cowboy Stirrup Step, and their awesome

winch ropes. Not to mention you will have the opportunity to see some of those

products in action on the trails because he is bringing 2 of their rigs to

tag along with us.

Don't forget their will be free food and great conversation around the

campfire at Cottage number 3 at Pine Lakes Resort on Friday night. As well as

early registrations. We will have some great trail riding all day on Saturday

with a great dinner and the convention at Pine Lakes afterward. While your

down you can also check out Rockport Off-Road Parks newest Rock Climbing

areas. They have added a number of new, easy, hard, and crazy sections to their

rockcrawling area. Last but not least we will have a scavenger hunt on

Saturday for some more great prizes. Did I mention we will also have goody bags as

well.

What else can I say. The price is very reasonable, at only $65 if prepayed

and $75 at the gate that is super reasonable. Considering that the fee

covers dinner on friday, dinner on saturday, entrance to Rockport on Sat and Sun,

a goody bag, door prizes, guided trail riding, discounts on lodging/camping,

and if you prepayed you even get a free t-shirt. That's a heck of a deal...

and all the proceeds go to help ILFWDA in their efforts to help the four

wheel drive community!

Please try to make it to this event. It is always a blast and you get to

wheel with your fellow four wheelers from all across the state. Hope to see

you there!
