January Banquet

Post by komats »

It was suggested at the December meeting that we start a thread with the side dishes we will be bringing, so here goes (hopefully I have it listed under the correct topic  ) I will be bringing dessert, possibly pumpkin cheesecake, but not 100% certain. I can also bring anything else that is needed.

I will be bringing the trophy to this event , so Al can take it home! I'm thinking anything broken on a "Big Trip" counts double.
1. Twisted drive shaft.
2. Broken drivers front leaf spring centering bolt.
3. Broken radiator fan.
That's 6 total
All in a 1 week trip to Moab.

Because it wasn't a club event, Eureka Springs doesn't count.(I have a picture of Al with the hood up [fan belts]) . This wipes out my bent front axle at the sand dunes in Michigan also.

Bill you do realize the last name on the trophy is the keeper of the axle don't you. So if the name hasn't been added you'll have to keep it for another year!

I was hoping our school schedule overlapped the annual banquet but it ended up being a week off. I think I'll be stuck with pasta for dinner tonight here in GA. Regardless, bon appetit and cheers to another great year with MIJC.
