Mid-Illini Jeepers

This may seem a little early, but I got the post card in the mail asking to provide an approximate number of participants by early May. The parade is on a Sunday at 4pm. Last year a few of us got there a couple hours early and wandered the festival grounds before the parade and grabbed a bite or two to eat. If there's a decent chance you'll participate this year, post here. I'll tally the results after Moab and send in the total.... Fraser

I have the MIJC banners and I will bring them to the parade, but we'll need someone to "wear" them. Fraser, are you bringing your J-truck?

At this point I'm leaning towards bringing the TJ. To bring the J-truck, the upgraded ignition parts I ordered that haven't arrived yet need to arrive, and I need to replace the front springs, which I may do tonight. While that would allow me to bring it, if it's hot like the forecast says it will be, I'll probably bring the TJ. Then again, if it storms like the forecast says it will, I might be in the Grand Cherokee.

We'll be there! Is it too late to join in the fun? We've been on vacation, and haven't been checking the forum. Is everyone meeting somewhere together to get positions, and if so, what time/where?

It's not too late, bring whatever you like, and we're not sure where we're lining up. Check out the announcement on the home page for the details... the folks at the township building will tell us where to go.
