February 2022 meeting minutes

The February 5, 2022 meeting was held at Sangalli's in Pekin.
Fraser provided the following Treasurer's report: income of $80 from dues and a dinner deposit, ending balance $988.42; motion to approve made by Jon Martin, seconded by Jane Peters, all in favor.
Jon Martin recapped proposed change to the bylaws regarding officer term limits and the process for changing the bylaws (see details here: https://www.mijc.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4408) as well as a suggestion to suspend the $10 dues late fee for 2022. Shannon made a motion to approve the bylaws updates and late fee suspension, Jill seconded, all in favor.
Additional old business: none.
New business: Jon will remain as Events Coordinator (aka coordintator)
Upcoming events:
March 12 - Meeting and inspections starting at 10am at Unziker Equipment (937 Detroit Ave, Morton). Club will buy lunch. Jill will create a Facebook event to gather a headcount.
March 26 - Badlands, Attica IN
July 9-17 - big trip to Rausch Creek, PA. Shannon will create a Facebook event to gauge interest and get a headcount for lodging purposes.
